One club, three identities, two sports
East Point Football Netball Club is one club with three proud identities — the Kangaroos, the Bulldogs and the Dragons — fielding both football and netball teams from juniors right through to seniors. We play in the Ballarat Football League out of our home at Eastern Oval, Ballarat East.
East Point was formed in 2001 from the merger of two of Ballarat’s oldest clubs — East Ballarat, established in 1885, and Golden Point — bringing more than 140 years of football heritage under one banner. Our motto says it best: Every Heart Beats True.
The three identities
- Kangaroos — our senior men’s football and senior netball.
- Bulldogs — our junior boys’ football and junior netball.
- Dragons — our female football, from junior girls through to senior women.
